TOKYO, January 25, 2022 – Ajinomoto Co., Inc. (“Ajinomoto Co.”) signed an agreement today to serve as an official sponsor of the 31st Southeast Asian Games (“SEA Games”) to be held in Vietnam in May 2022. Ajinomoto Co. will provide support as a sponsor of the highest rank of the SEA Games.
The SEA Games are held every two years to help forge strong regional cooperation, understanding, and unity within the Southeast Asian community. They are the largest sporting event held in Southeast Asia, attracting the attention of a total of more than 600 million people in the region. For this year’s event in Vietnam, Ajinomoto Co. becomes a sponsor of the highest rank, as in the previous event.
Be notice that Ajinomoto Co., Inc. invested in Cambodia on 1 Sept 2009 as the “qualify investment project” approved by Cambodia Development Council (CDC). AJINOMOTO (CAMBODIA) factory located at PPSEZ, repacked AJI-NOMO-TO MSG, produced RosDee flavor seasoning, and imported other products such as Birdy Instant coffee mixed, Yum Yum instant noodle and Crispy Deep Fried Powder. Currently, AJINOMOTO (CAMBODIA) operates 5 sales depots with many number sales teams which they can daily visit each retailer shop over nationwide. AJINOMOTO (CAMBODIA) aim to be “The most familiar food company in Cambodia, and contribute with solution to food and health issues”.
